WW2 reenactment at Collings Foundation in Hudson this weekend

Went to the "Airfield Attack" event this weekend. Got to ride on the back of the STuG tank destroyer Sunday. Not as fun as it sounds; getting on and off in hobnailed jackboots without falling on my face, and not getting asphyxiated by diesel fumes.

Politics are showing up in the hobby now. We weren't allowed to show our SS runes, so I'm wearing my DOT44 camouflage tunic and not my standard M36 tunic.

Don't know where the horses and carts were. As this was Collings, I think many of the vehicles were theirs. They were also opening a new museum.

My other hobby is Film Photography.... I would love to "shoot" one of these events with a period correct camera, like my Speed Graphic 4x5 or one of my folding medium format cameras.
