WW2 exploding ammo

Missing? .45/70s do a number on Gourds...50 yards, standing.

The Smith & Wesson 460 XVR revolver with Alfred's home-brew hollow point reloads made bigger holes... and a large pumpkin actually broke in pieces after a second shot.

Will own one of those by next year's pumpkin shoot so we can compare the damage in a side by side trial.

I'll have to bring my black powder next time; .575 Minie, .715 round, or .43 Mauser. That is if they allow more than .22 this time around.

Unfortunately these are illegal to own over here [frown]
Even if they were GTG, range owners would gasp at the thought.

I have them more for collecting purposes. I am sure it would be cool to shoot some things with them though. Funny thing is, I bought a can of mixed WW2 German ammo and there were quite a few rounds of B Patronen mixed in there. I would hate to think of what would have happened if someone took them to the range and didnt know any better. I picked them out right away since I know how they are marked.
