Interesting piece. I don't think it is super valuable although they are pretty few and far between. GERMAN not Spanish sporterized 98k large ring mauser by Golden State Arms Sante Fe Division. Google it. Not a huge fan of the stock looks like something tried to restore it. No cracks or anything and the entire gun is super sturdy. Action is very smooth, inside of barrel is very shiny on the inside and it has a $125 Lyman 57 or 66 peep sight on it. Some finish is worn off toward the end of the barrel and it is missing a front sight hood which I think are like 8 cents on Numrich. Not really looking to sell looking to turn into something else. Would trade for something in 20ga, 22mag, 16 ga, pump shotguns not really looking for any 22's. I heard people junk the barrel and stock and use the receiver and bolt as basis for custom mauser builds? Try me
