He is a well know anti gunner who is lobbying beacon hill and paying for that large billboard over the Mass pike.
I tried to get in but I couldn't. He used the "79 people will die today because of guns" amongst other tales of BS. I wanted to challenge him on how many of those "79" are gang bangers who obtained the firearm illegally, but all I got was a busy signal.
However, Steve Bailey (one of the hosts that's filling in today - the other one is Alex Beam <he seems to be more on our side and actually said that he thinks Rosenthal is a gun grabber> and he's okay) is a liberal POS. He was fawning all over Dellahunt who was their first guest before ol' Johnny. I just filled out the comment form on WRKO's home page (www.wrko.com) and told them that if Steve Bailey was back, I would not be. Mr. Bailey promised Rosenthal that if HE (Bailey) was back, that Rosenthal definately would be.
I suggest that, if you don't like ol' Steveo, you do the same, or call them. 617-779-3400 is the number for the switchboard.

The part about them going to NH and being able to buy an AK47 was kinda funny,in a sad way.Lots of erroneous info was on that show..

As I understood it when I worked at a gun store on the ME-NH border; the rules for ME & NH are the same: a NCIS check is required for a FFL transfer; no background check for a private transfer between two in-state citizens of the same state.
Rosenthal is the Foundation president of American Hunters and Shooters Association. Just an FYI incase you were thinking about supporting AHSA. He also gave 10 Grand of his own money to Handgun Control Inc.. Also was cofounder of Mass-based Stop Handgun Violence. (David Hart, "Sportsmen Beware", Outdoor Life, Dec/Jan 07, p. 28)

Steve, let's say I'm a criminal in Boston who wants an AK-47. Explain to me the steps I need to take to obtain one in New Hampshire, and describe for me which EXISTING federal and state laws you would have me and my supplier violate in the process.
Follow their logic to its end...
Criminals can get guns from people who legally purchase guns, pass their background checks, and then commit the felony of transferring that firearm to an ineligible recipient of said firearm.
The only "loophole" left to close is the one that allows non-criminals to own guns.
