Worcester process still easy?

Friend is going today for LTC appointment.
I helped him fill out the application. We did the two letters of recommendation.
When I got mine it was a simple process. Went in, did finger prints. Asked me a couple questions about my background. And that was it.
Still the same?

As far as I know, the process SHOULD be as you describe.

Probably take a few months to get the license after the “interview”. The most important part of the “interview” is the $100 fee.

I wouldn't describe any part of this "process" to exercise a Constitutionally enumerated right as "easy"
