How do headstamps differ from civilian and military rounds? Do police get different headstamps? Federal agents in the various bureaus, etc.?

9mm NATO has the NATO cross on it, and crimped primers. I recently bought a couple cans full of the stuff.... it's not "special" , just not as frequently seen.

Military contract ammo has this mark on it and never has the manufacturers logo or name on the headstamp.

Pretty easy to pick out a federal brand 9mm in a batch of mil ammo.
