two mag pouches (or use your pockets if you don't have any)
gun
ammo
3 mags
eyes
ears

Sounds like fun, is there a website that goes through rules, and what we will actually be doing? I'd like to at least check it out if I can make it there Sunday. Also, is it open to a first timer?

It is open to first timers, but it very important that you maintain safe gun handling skills, that is what concerns us the most. There are plenty of seasoned shooters at the practice/match that we can pair you up with.

If you do not have your IDPA number or if it is pending you can still shoot it. IDPA allows for scoring of your first match without being a member after that you will need to become a member.

Rain or shine or snow we only cancelled one match in five years that was in February due to snow that was just too deep.
