Informal IDPA practice.

OK folks, time to get things rolling

I've already sent e-mails to the WPRC members who have expressed interest.
I'd like to start this Wednesday evening around 5:30 - 6:00 ish. Shoot for about an hour.

I'd like to open this up to NON-club members if any folks here are interested.
You'll need to sign in and pay the range fee of three bucks.
(Club policy, not mine.)

I've got two target stands (There are two additional stands at the outdoor range for a total of four.) and targets / pasters, I just need to stop by the lumberyard and pick up some furring strips for the stands.

Only thing I don't have is a timer.

I'll admit I'm a Noob when it comes to this, I've been to a couple of pratices over at Harvard SC so any input would be welcomed

I was thinking twice a month on Wednesday evenings. Day & time work for everyone ? Suggestions ?

Open House and Membership drive

Ok folks, I just posted this on the club's website.

On Saturday June 28th the Woodsman Rifle & Piston Club will be hosting an open house from 11 Am to 2 PM.
Come on down and have a look at the best little club you’ve never heard of.
We will have BB guns and air rifles for the kids to shoot indoors with supervision, of course.

The outdoor firing range will be closed due to safety considerations for the duration of the open house.

There will be Hamburgers, Hotdogs and Soft drinks.

Club members will be on hand to give tours and answer questions

Want a place to go shoot indoors 24 / 7 ? This is a great place to spend a couple of hours on a winter’s day when everyone else is slogging through the snow and freezing their fingers off you can be nice & warm on our 50 foot indoor range.

Outside we have a spacious three sided sandpit with covered shooting stations to keep you dry when it rains. The firing line is also shaded by soaring pines so you’ll be cool on a summer’s afternoon.

So come on out join up for some family fun !

Membership's run $45.00 annualy, pay dues and pick up new keys in May.
