"“Wildlife officers found wolf tracks in the vicinity and GPS collar data for both incidents that also indicated wolves were in the area during the time the dogs were attacked,” Livingston said."

More of that science shit.

"Colorado Parks and Wildlife said it has paid $12,929.75 in compensation for wolf livestock depredations of five cows, two working cattle dogs and one calf as of Jan.19, 2023."

.gov to the rescue

That doesn't sound like there's any markup for emotional stress or other psychological harm. Sounds like market price, take that as a small victory.

Imagine if someone had a dog and lived in. . . NYC and got pissed that cars are running over their dogs. In fact, they made NYC pay for the dog. Dude lost 28 dogs in the last 62 days!

Wolves are in their historic ranges. If you've got a dog, look after it. It doesn't seem much more complicated than that.

Are the wolves protected? Is there a price on their head? What is the current status? Open season? Closed season? None of the above?

Didn't the state purposely reintroduce wolves? All the Denver moonbats probably thought they're nice and cute and voted for the measure, while it's everyone else that has to deal with the fallout.
