That part she got right, but the media already got it wrong. Within a day NYT, the bastion of journalistic ethics, waived the ‘namless’ convention on mass killers to tie the killer/killing to White Nationalism (a PC term for White Supremacy, KKK, New-Nazi) and Trump. On Nexis, I found 6600+ news articles on White National-ism/ists 2014 forward, 73% with an anti-Trump focus. The term was largely created to label Trump voters.
The copycat effect from the media riptide will drag many killers out of the shadows to plan and execute their plots. The liberals are literally recruiting the next killers whose victims’ blood They will place on the hands of Trump, Trump-voters, GOP, NRA, conservatives and gun owners. Not Tin-Hat stuff, the copycat/Contagion effect has be proven by academics to account for 20-30% of mass killings. Not by number of victims but by events, big of small.

True. I’d argue though that the ones who actually believe their crap are the fake ones. Because their ideas never work in reality.

The same images, which are used as the company’s branding, appear on its website.
When AP visited the registered business address, located in one of Christchurch’s poorer neighborhoods, three of its vans were parked opposite, their “black sun” imagery removed but still identifiable by a company website address on them. A visibly hostile man standing beside the vans, who did not appear to be the business owner, did not want to answer questions.
Police on Tuesday said they had arrested a 44-year-old man in Christchurch for distributing objectionable material and he would appear in court the next day.”
This ain’t the US Constitution Toto - when push comes to shove freedom of speech protections are pretty thin in NZ.

This is a perfect example of useless politician making sure the tragedy will have a long lasting impact on citizens. Instead of addressing concrete issues on hand, slow police response, inability to protect houses of worship, etc., she is going to be chasing Erdogan! In addition, she is asking citizens to give up their only protection!
We have accomplished the same stupidity on even larger scale. We have announced The War on Terror so we can have Taliban in Afghanistan and much stronger positions of Russia in Syria. Mission Accomplished!

Where is the common sense? You are a victim of the attack and the first thing your politicians want you to do is to surrender your only protection! Let them show you first that they can in deed eliminate such treats! If they can't, they are useless.
The situation would improve immediately if preps would not be sure who is armed and who is not. That alone works well.
So the terrorist wanted his actions to lead to more gun control and the tyrants are obliging by passing more gun control. Proof that tyrants and terrorists work hand in hand for the common goal of victim disarmament.

Erdogan said the massacre in Christchurch was part of a broader attack on Turkey and Islam. He also warned anti-Muslim Australians that they would be sent back in coffins like their grandfathers at Gallipoli.
