Two men, one armed with a shotgun, entered a Milwaukee Aldi’s store with robbery on his mind. He quickly changed his mind when a customer pulled out Betsy and opened fire.

But, here is the kicker. The store had signage and it appears wisconsin has binding signage requirements.

The second story calls him the third gunman...

Pure crap plain and simple - as stated by others he should be considered a good citizen for what he did.

Shoulda just put this sign up.

I have a policy that in those situations, I will not help anyone but myself and my family.

If the criminals want to execute a few people along the way and leave me alone, I'm down with that.

I'm not going to jail (ignoring binding signage is just a minor misdeamenor here) for some sheeple.

If I'm not a place that bans guns, then I might be freer with my ammo.

don't shop where you aren't welcome, and don't vote for laws that make signage binding.

The problem in a lot of the new CCW states is that they often suck for binding signage as part of an effort to get the law passed. Sometimes it's the only way to get the bill passed.

Binding signage sucks but if it is a low level misdemeanor or less its a cheap carrot to throw the weeble wobbles to get CCW, so that's why it ends up being in a lot of these state laws.

It's a slippery slope. I know in NV we had it, but only for casinos - which are for an obvious reason. It might have changed, but last I know you could CC anywhere, even bars, cathouses, and any municipal building without a metal detector.

I am sorry but it's not obvious to me. When I was there for CES I was disarmed by policy yet the bad guys could have just walked right in.

No worries, read up on how our gambling control board operates. Not saying it's right, but having worked at a senior level in casinos, I get it.

As for those bad guys, you mean like the bike gangs that try to play wild west from time to time? A couple of the casinos I worked at in Northern NV had an onsite armory just in case those guys wanted to come over.
