Winchester Primers

Ok..I finally ran out of my old stock and the CCI primers I had on hand.......I just got back from Northeast Traders Co, Tell me, When did they stop plating the winchester primers? Now they are just brass?

Oh yeah, they are out of Titegroup too........

I've been using Winchesters for some time now and they've been unplated all that time.

Loading .40? While TG is very popular, I like WST for both .40 and .45. Less cost, less smoke.

yep.. loading .40, was using 231 but I am almost out of that now too......

Winchester dropped the nickle plating on primers at least 3 years ago.

The nice thing about Winchester primers you can pick them up with your primer stick right out of the package.

I've used both. Switching to Winchester exclusively now. Try Power Pistol for .40S&W you'll be pleased.

Been several years .....like five or six if my memory serves me correctly since I've seen a plated Winchester primer.
