WI - Armed Customer Shoots At Shotgun Wielding Robber

An armed customer at a Milwaukee grocery store stopped a shotgun-wielding attempted robbery suspect from completing his crime.

The customer opened fire at an Aldi's on North 76th Street and West Villard Avenue.

Milwaukee Police said the incident happened at about 7:00 p.m. Monday evening.

According to police, as a man attempted to rob the store, a customer fired shots at the would-be robber.

The suspect ran without taking anything from the store.

No customers or employees were injured during the incident, and police were questioning a man who went to the hospital with a gunshot wound to determine if his injury was connected to the attempted robbery.
