Which of your guns would be your favorite anti-looter gun?
I would tend to go for my Rem. 870, mostly because it could handle everything from a mere caress all the way up to a honkin' slug up the asterisk.

My choice is moot, but, it would be a toss up between the M14 and the RomAK 3, with the WASR for back-up, and the Glock 19 for a sidearm.
Reality dictates an M16A2 with an M9 back-up, since that's what we're issued (and my son carried in LA recently).

I would be uncomfortable with having my gun that far out of sight. Also, it is difficult to prevent a firearm-takeaway from that position, unless, of course, you shoot him.
