why can't we discuss dealers who shipped to Maine?

I wanted to know about a dealer that I was thinking of placing an order from who would ship to me in MAINE.

My guess is that it may be an honest mistake and they thought you asked for Mass. I would PM/email the moderator who removed your post and ask.

The problem with that particular thread was it went off the
rails- we had (well meaning) MA guys responding to your inquiry
that had done business with them, and said they were shipping guns
to MA C+R holders, If the AG sees that stuff, the AG might
start getting pissy at the vendor about it, and then the vendor decides
they don't want to dick with doing business with anyone in
MA anymore, and then the MA inmates will have one less place to buy stuff from.

It sucks to have to clamp down on this, it really does. The
problem is that now it's basically crystal clear that the AG's goons,
and other rats, are watching. Before it was just a theory; but
in the past week or so there's been considerable evidence that
the AG's goons visit to try to gather "intel" on us.

Thus, we need to really watch what we say here.

If a thread ONLY involved ME people talking about a dealer who shipped to ME and nobody from MA piped up, we'd leave the thread be as is.

We could always set up a Non-Massachusetts resident area in the forum:
"Non-Inmates" or something. I can understand the frustration of other Northeast folks who feel muzzled by our need to deal with the Massachusetts AG.

Even if there was a separate area it would still have to be monitored.
It shouldn't be too hard for a MA resident who has info to resist the temptation to publicly post their dealings in the open forum. If they have valuable information and they trust the person who originally posted, they could use email or private messages.
