Just curious if you are having issues with you're dovetail on your Carrier? usually a deformation or u shaped indent from the sharp edge of the Tapco Hammer?
Take a look at this Pic and it will show you the sharp edge that will wear in the Dovetail of your Carrier. either sand it down or change the trigger to a older Hammer or the RAK-1.

Saw something about this on AK Operator's Union's Facebook page. They're probably hardening the hammers and shouldn't be. I'd rather see the hammer wear than the bolt carrier- cheaper part.

The Tapco G2 is out of spec of the majority of its dimensions/specs.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm about to install a G2 in a build.

Hmmmm. My WASR has a G2 and I have no wear marks like that. I don't count but I'd estimate round count somewhere around 7,500.

My trigger is actually pretty nice. I like the break. Luck of the draw I suppose. I didn't know jack all squat when I bought it.

I've switched over to the ALG ATK. I prefer it greatly over the G2.

I too like the ALG. I replaced my Tapco trigger with that.

im hearing some issues with it also. Not as sharp as the G2 Hammer at the 2 points but still should be sanded a tad. RTG has East German Hammers for 7.00 .
