Which cartridge do you own the most guns in currently?

  • Start date
9mm (numerous handguns and 2 carbines) followed by .357 magnum (2 revolvers and a Ruger 77) and a lone .380 (a Browning BDA that I couldn't resist while visiting a gun shop)

9mm by far, probably 22LR after that, then 5.56/.223, then a lot of the rest are tied at 3-4 each.

22LR by far
then several of these calibers.
38/357
30-06
45-70
And then a dozen or so other chamberings but only an example or two of each.
223 Wylde may soon make it onto the main list, unofficially of course.

.455 Webley, though I don't shoot it much.

For firearms in common use, it's a 3-way tie between 9mm, .38 spl, and 7.62x51.

Then multiples of .45 ACP, 7.62x39 and, strangely, .380.
