Kinda hard to see it but the ‘primer’ end on this case is concave. It’s a cup fire round for a front loading pond

used to have a couple .40 rim fire found inside the wall of my childhood home in dot, don't know what i did with them, looks like you may have 1 in that collection

Probably not much value other than the "Cool!" factor. If you really want to move them, take them to a gun show, and see who's selling such oddities. See if they'll make you an offer.
