I'm building my first ar and now I'm looking to find a place to weld/pin the brake. Does anyone have any first hand experiences with anyplace in central mass/ metro west area?

Owl Tactics, that operates out of an office at B&K in Natick does this.

There are a couple of ways to pin. One is to drill a hole directly perpendicular to the bore axis and into the threads a bit and put in a blind pin. The other (that is a bit trickier) is to drill an off center hold that tangentally cuts into the barrel just a little bit, and push the pin in. The later is a bit more elegant, but requires an absolutely rock solid hold in the press so the drill does not slip.

In each case, the pin is generally welded or brazed into place and polished flush.
