Where can I find half inch thick, grey foam rubber for a gun case?

I have a soft gun case that needs some reinforcement. It's too floppy and saggy with stuff in it. I want to add some rugged, but lightweight, grey foam rubber to the inside of the bag to give it some structure.

Can anyone point me toward a supplier? Thinking 3/8 or 1/2 inch.

Are you talking about pre-cut for guns or just foam? If just foam, you can buy from any construction supplier. For instance, Grainger has a wide range of foams and neoprene of various sizes and finishes. Some can get really pricey, but there are several for reasonable money. 1/2" x 24" x 54" gray polyethylene foam (the cheaper of the closed cell stuff) runs $20.75 and can be picked up at many branches.

The full list of foams is here (scroll down to see entire list):

Specialty Flooring stores. (Not Home Depot) sell rubber mats for gym floors. Very Rigid.

Everytime I look for foam I find it almost cheaper and its easier to buy a case that fits your needs.
