But, I like to see people have fun decorating. There are some real tacky ones around here too, but they seem to enjoy it.

As long as they don't take down the power grid!

There's a street in Phoenix, AZ that's completely decorated - EVERY house - and they close it to vehicular traffic. You have to park and walk it. It was absolutely incredible, too.

But the prize for most ridiculous display goes to a two foot tall barrel cactus wrapped in orange Christmas lights. [lol] [lol] G-d, that was funny.

Ross, Pine Tree lane in Sudbury is like that. Some pretty tacky but impressive displays on that loop.

I did see that one of them was from Bridgewater, MA.

My daughter and son-in-lw and a bunch of their friends have a Yankee Swap around this time every year. Everybody tries to bring the most hiddeous Christmas ornament. I haven't seen it, but she swears that they've got a lock on winning this year.
