Big thumbs up on the SR1911, even though mine happens to be back in AZ at the moment where they're checking out some peening on the slide. Good luck finding one under $700 though!

The SR1911 is an excellent "entry" 1911. Too bad they are so tough to find. They were even more appealing when they were like under $650.

Remington 870 hd you can get 2 and still be under 700
