What keeps shooters from participating in organized shoots and matches.

To quote Tom Hanks, "It is supposed to be hard, if it was easy, everyone would do it. The hard is what makes it great".
Although the season is over, Pioneer Sportsmen, Purgatory Falls Fish & Game and Pemigewasset Fish & Game Are the only clubs in New England that still host NRA Silhouette. The season starts in April.
Many years ago I tried it a few times and it ended as fast as it started. I do have pellet gun and shoot the pellet gun version in my yard. I often use paper targets though for practice.

Just curious to what is keeping shooters from participating.

Trying to figure out how to increase participation.

So anyone have some input.

I would love to participate. There just aren't many matches here in western ma!

M&P, you can keep pretty busy between granby and Monson
Monson has USPSA, 3 gun and ICORE
Granby has USPSA, IDPA, precision rifle series, 2 gun and with any luck 3 gun. You could be busy just about every weeekend between the two ranges

Do you have contact info for the Granby club? Looking for IDPA.
