Former Militec user, switched over to 10W-30 motor oil for most of my guns.

I use synthetic motor; 5w for the 22s and 20w for everything else. I add a little superfine moly powder (which is probably unnecessaty) to improve the lubrication. This stuff works just as well as the much more expensive gun oils for a tiny fraction of the cost.

Same here. Plus a 50/50 mix of Kroil and Shooter's Choice makes a heck of a bore cleaner.
