What if we go a day without starting a new Coronavirus thread?
Serious now: the economy will put enough pressure, everyone will return to work like normal and the weaker people will die, just like the flu every season. I know it sounds mean, that's not my intention. But they cant put a stop to the world.
At some point, we go back to work and take our losses. Eventually there will be a peak and decline. It's not a superbug to end civilization, it's a uber bad cold/flu. Whole point is let the medical community deal with it in small bites.
Just because there are so many Walking Dead haters here
This thing is going to look like a wave for a while. There will be a point where we’re doing more testing but the infected rate isn’t setting a new record each day (it will have peaked and started declining). Then we’re all going to come out our hidey-holes and we’ll start the cycle over again since the disease is still around. Then fall will come and we’ll do it again with everyone who hasn’t gotten sick yet. Eventually it turns into the flu where people have either had it or are protected by some yet to be created vaccine and a herd immunity.
