Right around a 100k signatures they claim.

Checker players always make the first move. Chess players let the opponent make the first move. She puts the law out there and waits, if she doesn't need the preamble move fine, but she did and she knew she would move that chess piece if she had to. Keep in mind that when it comes up for the vote they have to print a summary of what the law does/changes, not just the Ghost Gun talking point but all of it.

Whatever they initially come up with will/should be challenged in court to be sure it's complete and doesn't gloss over the impact or lack of impact.
