What happened to NES

For almost a week i couldn't get on to the site, i was just able to get on last night and look around. What happened? First I thought i was some how qusi-banned but I havent wrote anything ban worthy at all (atleast on here), and then i tried it from my school's computer and got the same thing.

everytime it was just telling me that the site could not be reached and sending me to a search page.

It was down for a few days due to a technical glitch that my meager intellectual abilities can't begin to understand or explain.

thats what I thought and i probably wouldn't understand it even if you tried to explain it to me
