I did that once in a class with a 40 in a 45 (with the instructor's permission) because someone said with 100% confidence that the gun would blow up to bits. It didn't, and that guy finally stopped talking.

There was a guy shooting single stack or cdp at a match at pioneer in the squad in front of me and the gun was giving him fits. I looked at his cases to be Mr Helpful and sure enough he's got all stretched out .40s.
Is the gun OK ?

Mounted an M203 rail mount Quadrant sight on my Can Cannon.
Installed a new Dan Wesson rear sight on my newly acquired model 15-2 revolver. The old factory sight is wobbly as hell which drives me nuts. The new one is nice and snug. Weird that my new DW 715 revolver has the same rear sight except it’s serrated.

Why was the old one not snug?
I should have been more clear. The rear sight blade was wobbly and loose. Not the sight base itself. Every DW revolver I’ve had, had wobbly rear sight blades.

Not today but recently added a vortex diamondback 3-12x40 scope and Caldwell xla bipod to my rpr.

Put new G10 grips on the P227! I'm loving it

Got the bushings out of my Baer using a soldering iron to heat the loctite and a Challis bushing wrench. Then installed the Techwell grips and magwell.

That tool is great. I needed that when I switched the stock thin grips on my compact.

No only because I was switching to thin grips. I have read that Baers often have imperfect dimensions so I didn't want to fit a regular magwell.

I'm going to have to look into that. I usually pound a torx bit onto them if they are stubborn.

Plus one; going to add that to my toolbox.
I was shocked the first time I went to remove the grips on my S&W 1911 and the bushing came out with it. Very unpleasant surprise. I have a small bag of spare bushings now in my parts box.

My compact is an aluminum frame so I wanted to make sure I didn't screw it up. But either way it makes life easier and I was grabbing new screws and bushings from them anyways. It just sti ks you have to buy one for each bushing type. I wish they made a double sided one or something.
