Took the Mauser's to the range. Squeezed off some 8mm and some 6.5 swede.
The 98 needs the front sight drifted a hair and the Swede is right on but shooting high by about 4 inches at 50 yards.

Put an Mcarbo trigger spring in my Ruger 223 ranch Rifle that I use for Coyotes. Went from 4.5 pound decent pull to a crisp breaking 2.5 pounds. Its nice.

Just ordered a Magpul hunter american stock for the 6.5CM Ruger American Predator, 10% Presidents sale at Optics planet.

Will throw an Mcarbo in that build while Im at it too.

Bought my first Sig last week (365) and heard the flat triggers are nice. Wasn’t sure if it’s worth the money for a small carry gun? I don’t think it actually reduces the trigger pull just makes it “feel” lighter.

I personally like the stock trigger on the P365. It’s pretty reasonable for what comes out of the box. I detest my Glock factory triggers, and would like a better Beretta 92FS trigger, but the 365 is pretty good. It’s my EDC for what that’s worth.

All done. Mcarbo trigger dropped it down from 4 to 2.5 pounds. Nice break on it too.

I had ordered the Magpul stock already before the rifle....but I'll tell you, I think they've stiffened the front of these Ruger stocks a bit, there is almost no flex in the Ruger stock. It was fully free floated and I couldn't push the stock up or the barrel down to hit the stock. Mag is still pretty cheap and it will be good to have 10 rd instead of 4.

just spent 175$ to ship my Mitchell Mauser k98 to Mike Cramer over at Texas Star Shooting so i can get a long side rail put on this military Mauser to make it a sniper variant.

The cost to ship a decent size rifle with some weight to it is crazy add any extra insurance forget it. You just dont have many options
Cost me $150 round trip to send a LRB My M1a build to fix another manufactures defect that the original manufacture gave me the cold shoulder.

4” high at 50 yards is about right for swede mauser combat zero
