What did you do in the reloading room recently?

Processed some .30-06, .308 and .223 Remington brass and loaded some 110g frangibles in the .30 calibers.
Also loaded a few of the LOS 145gr PHP in some assorted 9x19mm brass.

You guys can still get .30 caliber (.308", .310") projectiles and some .22 caliber projectiles online, but the company I'm referring to does not ship to MA.
Too bad...
Hornady 7.62x39 123 grain .310 diameter, Spire / soft point tips. 500 for $85
US Surplus .308 Soft point, 150 and 165 grain, boat tail with canalure. New old stock. 100 for $30
7.62x54R / 303 148 grain .310 diameter lead core tips. 100 for $18
223 Frangible bullets, 42 grain. 100 for $14
All plus shipping. Not a total bargain, but they are in stock.

Ship them to me, come down and reload and shoot onsite.

Found these on the ground at the range today. Are these non-lethal rounds?
I took them home in hopes I could take the primers. But that plastic shit is in there good [laugh]

Those are training rounds Similar to a paintball round...they function in a gun similar to a standard issue g22, not one of those tarded looking paintball guns.

Is that Simunitions?

Or a competitor's product?

I snapped both the left and right link arms on my RL550b press. I logged a support ticket on the Dillon website and in less than 24 hours I got an email saying the replacement parts were on the way. Man do I love their lifetime warranty, my press is over 25 years old.
Dillon customer service is top notch. They always call back if you leave a number. Yes, lifetime warranty rocks. The have sent me free parts as well.

Nope, I had just converted my press from 9mm to 45acp and after about 30 rounds...

Yep...Blue.

Snapping both link arms seems like it would be really hard to do...nice work ;-)

There must be considerable forces at play at the point? Its cast aluminium so any flaw in the castings with have a weak spot. Aluminum is pretty darn strong until you push it the wrong way.

My guess is one of the pivots is not moving freely , thats why i think Dillon has grease fittings on those?
All it would take is a little different force in each on eof those bushings to apply a different force to those arms.

Good thing is its under warranty

I broke down 6 rounds of 9mm that was laying on the ground (in excellent condition) at the range over the weekend. Nice to score free primers and brass! [laugh]
No idea why people are leaving 9mm on the ground. That’s like $3 laying there...

Really need primers. I only have 1500 left. I never thought I would run out of reloading supplies. Trust me, this will be the first and last time. As soon as stuff is available again I am making a major investment powder and primers.
