What did you do in the reloading room recently?

H110?

I get that blast out if my sp101 snub nose with 21.5 grains h110 under a 125 grain jsp.

17.0 grains of 2400

I ran back to back with some 158 grain loads, and in those, 14.2 grains of 2400 flashed a lot more than 16.3 grains of H110. Both ran right about 1120fps out of my 6" 586. I haven't tried H110 with a 125 grain yet.

I have to wear double earpro with these, outside. I put one through with just earplugs and was like... nope.

Well if it's muzzle flash you want ....h110 is very slow burning......and 125 grain bullets exit the barrel fast......so......lots of powder still burning outside of the barrel. 👍

125 grain jsp over 21-22 grains of h110 is brutal out of a snub.

I kind of want to try Power Pistol just to see what happens.

For snubs, at least in S&W J frame airweights, I kind of tap out at a brisk 38+P. No desire to run a 357 through one of those.

60 free bullets, 20 of each variety requested.

Also received my 6.5x55 neck die and 200 more 139gr 6.5 projectiles today (sadly not free).

Pics please!
Got it. Uploaded to YouTube
I know......I missed one😂

I know.....I'm slow.....it's a handful with those loads. I have to get a death grip on it to hold on.

I know.....it's sideways.....the cameraman sucks 🤣

The video does not give the flash and report justice......trust me.... This thing is LOUD with these loads.

Yeow. I'd need an empty chamber about every other round to fight off a flinch.
My miss was a flinch. Then I settled back in.

That gun is a handful with those loads. I make a few every now and then for fun. Don't shoot em too often.

You do a great job at controlling the gun. Nice.

Awesome. Look forward to the range report once you and whacko have a chance to try em.
Got my box of 1000 357 diameter 158 grain jsp today. Damn they look like a quality product......can't believe they are cheaper than I was paying for cast bullets.

Samples of lswc 45 is in the box too. I'll have to try those with some bullseye powder and test. I know the 200 grain lswc and bullseye is the old standard for 1911 reloads .....I've always been hesitant of cast lead......after leading up the bore on a 22 pistol years and years ago and spending hours cleaning it I've committed to plated cast or jacketed only. I know it's probably a crazy fear as I know tons of guys that use lswc in 1911s......Im going to try these out and see what I get.

Prepped my first forty cases of 6.5x55.
Going to hopefully load a few tonight, will use Varget. Hoping to track down a pound of IMR 4350.

I thought I'd start one large thread on What you did in the reloading room recently? Gives us fellow (addicted) reloaders a place to chat about reloading all in one thread.

This past weekend I cranked out a bunch of 44 mag rounds using 180 gr XTPs, 300 gr XTPs, and X-treme plated 240 gr FP with H110. Also made more 357 mag rounds with 158 gr JHPs using 2400.

If I have some time tonight after work, I'd like to make more 9mm rounds with X-treme plated 115 gr RN using Titegroup.
Tumble them for 1/2 hr and see if they clean up.

Nice! And they ship pretty fast too which is nice. Their service and prices are hard to beat.
Loaded 12 to test with the jsp zero projos. 6 through the revolver and 6 through the Henry carbine. I'm sure they'll be great but as always.....test first......then load a bunch.

3.6 grains 700x oal 1.42 inches which my son's Henry seems to prefer.

Nice shooting! Zero bullets and 2400 are a great combo.
