What breed of dog do you guys hunt with?

I've been thinking about getting a dog to help kick up some birds. Was wondering what you guys have for hunting dogs? And what was your favorite dog you've ever had? Past or present.

Lab and German Shorthair.

I currently have a Black Lab. She's a little smaller, which is great for upland. I think she'd be a great hunter if I put more time into her. One of my favorites was a German Wirehaired Pointer I had as a kid. He was a great hunter. I prefer my Lab, though, since she's a better all around pup.

my best pheasant dogs have been english springers spaniels. Labs are good with the right breeding, and I am currently hunting with an american cocker due to the lack of a springer.
She actually has a decent nose but is certainly not a serious choice.

The only thing my dog hunts is ZZZZZZZZZZZ's and tennis ball dumbells. Oh wait... he's a boxer that might explain it. He has been referred to as a Couch Ninja
