I was confused too. Maybe it is a part 2? I don't even remember what happened, just killer birds attracted to noise and a bleak scenario. Did I finish it? I dunno. Whether this is part 2 or not, I'm not inclined to watch it.Didn't I watch it LAST April on Netflix though??? I'm sure I started it and just couldn't go any further. I thought so anyhow. After BirdBox and the "Dno't make a F'ing Sound" John Crapbehinder movie it was just too much. I don't recall if I found out who the adversary was in the movie. It was that short of a watch.
they canned it? I'm surprised it lasted that long, being good sci-fi. To me it was the closest thing to Firefly, though not as good. And Dark Matter. They couldn't even end the show on a hurried conclusion and just stopped it abruptly right in the middle of a story line. That show was awesome.
Great show. Too bad they ran out of money. The second season timeline was really sped up as a result. Still good. I got stuck out of town for a couple days and binge watched the whole thing.+1 on this and though it was short they covered a decent story arc, so it wasn't so bad that it got canned. They say each piece on set was hand made by Italian craftspeople.
I am finding it hilarious and have trouble turning it off. The swearing is a lot less than I did or my family did when I was growing up and the drinking did not seem excessive compared to what I was doing from high school up to my mid 40's. When I had blue collar jobs I would regularly drink at work, as did pretty much everyone I worked with. After college if I was not headed out to a bar after work I made sure there were at least two cases of cold beer at home.I tried again to watch The Ranch. I made it 8 or 9 episodes and had to stop.
I mean, damn, Ashton. Do you want to portray EVERYONE on that show as a raging alcoholic???? It didn't have enough laughs to overcome the unnecessary swearing, drinking to excess and the d-hole father. It was like he wanted to make TSS but without censors. So he swears and drinks and gets into more serious situations. But the only nudity is his dumb ass. ROFL!!!!
It's got a lot going for it. But it never gelled. Oh, and Debra Winger is NOT cut out for sit-com work. She comes off very wooden.
