Ya, but alteast with prime I'd have a new selection of shows as well as the addition of fast shipping. Netflix is increasing their price again with no new content. Aside from Stranger Things (new season) there isn't enough to warrant it. Easy enough to change back. And Prime has House which I enjoy rewatching from time to time.

I binged that series - liked it a lot. Was really interesting to see how many really old people are considered experts in their field. Some places looked more appealing than others - but it made me want to book some trips to SE Asia.

Season 3 of "Colony" has hit on Netflix, not a half bad show. I'm in a few episodes of this latest season, so far liken it.

Not on Netflix but available with Amazon Prime. I watched the first episode last night and it was pretty awesome if you like history.

    1. Churchill's Secret Corpse
The pilot episode Churchill's Secret Corpse examines one of the most daring espionage operations of World War Two. Operation Mincemeat, in which British MI5 agents developed a high-stakes plan to lead the Nazi Wehrmacht astray and distract from the impending Allied invasion of Sicily, using faked documents on a prepared corpse.

I'm following a silly little high school soap opera series, which is totally not my thing, but it has an interesting premise and outstanding acting. Lots of hackneyed stereotypes, but it was originally a CW television series.

Not on Neflix, but I'm re-watching all the Deadwood episodes in preparation for the movie.

3/4 the way through Sneaky Pete Season 3. The first episode or two are hard to get through as you need to set up the F'ing that Marius is facing. Then it gets fun. Almost done with Episode 8. It's getting very fun.

I’m trying to watch the first episode but the shaky camera work throughout the whole show is making me nauseous.

The Imitation Game. Great fictionalized account of Alan Turing. Not sure all of it was necessarily true - the historic part. Cracking Enigma by knowing words already in the messages - well Heil and Hitler were in EVERY FREAKING MESSAGE and it took them a year to figure that out in the movie. ????

But BenBatch plays a great Asperger genius. Whatshername from POTC was good as well. And Oz from Watchmen was good. As well as the cast of "supporting" characters - chiefly the amazing Mark Strong.

I've been seriously considering dumping netflix lately, not because of the politics, but because I just don't watch it enough. I really liked stranger things, but I'm not going to keep paying $10/month for the next year waiting for season 3. Same with HBO. Game of thrones is done and I'm thinking of dumping it, as soon as I finish watching Chernobyl which has turned out to be surprisingly good.

I used to have Netflix but dropped it when they announced they gave Mr. and Mrs. Obama 500K to make anti-American documentaries and shows about how bad all of us are here. Flix also gave the accomplice Susan Rice a "job" on the flix BOD I believe. Too bad, I really liked the variety. Maybe some rich fair minded company who's centered in politics will start a service.

I think many of the streaming services are going to have this problem. People buy for a short period to binge-watch all the content they really want, then dump it. Restart later. Between Netflix, HBO, Hulu and others, it'll be on-again/off-again for a lot of people. And that does not create certainty in the revenue stream.

I'd like to get HBO for about a month to catch True Detective Season 1 and a few other things. I've just not gotten around to it. Maybe in the Fall when I'm watching TV more.

I agree. I think once people got used to the idea of ditching cable, they no longer like to spend $$$/month regardless of whether they use a service.

It's getting almost as expensive as cable if people pay for Amazon, Netflix, Hulu, SlingTV or DirectTV etc.

This is a great point. I think I'm going to ditch Hulu. I don't use it nearly enough.

We only have Hulu because we got a $0.99/mo for twelve months special. I'm finding less and less of value in Netflix. Not because it doesn't have great programming, but because it's just so hard to find what I want to watch.

Been cleaning up the neglected DVR show (Gotham, Happy, Last OG, What We Do in the Shadows) and then crushed the final season (sob) of The Tick on Amz Prime. I am going to watch something mindless tonight as I wait for tomorrow's drop.....Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch

The book was hilarious; it was passed back and forth between the two authors (Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett), who wrote a chapter - sent it to the other on floppy disk - who riffed another chapter - and so on.

Not Netflix, but HBO. Watched the 4 episodes of Chernobyl and it's freaking awesome. Godam the Soviets were retarded.
