We just watched The Silence last night. It is okay. It is basically Bird Box, but instead of not being able to see anything, you can't say anything.

It seemed to fly under the radar for the most part. I don't recall commercials for it on TV back then either.

Once they started involving the wives too much, it was destined to fail. "Oh, you all have to move to EBF, Wherever as part of a mission, but not YOUR kids only THEIR kids." WHAT??? Why???? Ugh.

As a guy with a large inter-pupillary distance, I can say this with all honesty - I've seen bass with eyes closer together than her. Damn! She's got 270 degree vision! Plus I hated her character. ROFL!

Only one more movie to go to complete the trifecta.

We tried watching the first episode of Black Summer. I'm thinking I should not bother continuing. Not much about this is making any sense. Why is everyone running around like idiots past their perfectly functional cars in streets completely empty of any traffic? When there is a car in use, why are people hijacking or stealing the cars instead of using their own? They live in suburbia where cars are mandatory and everyone would have one. Why did one girl get run over by the only car driving around? Why are the military rounding people up to bring them to a stadium when they have their own cars to get there, and why would it be better at a stadium? These zombies seem to have a long transition time between infect and zombie so why aren't people just standing their ground and shooting them? There is no way an outbreak should have gotten this bad before people figure out how to contain it? Why are jets flying over and nearby bombs are exploding but they never show anything exploding? What are they bombing? Zombies? How do you know where they are from the sky? Bombing zombies seems to be just about the worst way you could try to contain them.

So we watched the first 3 episodes of Hanna on Amazon Prime.... Looks preety good so far.

I've been binging on Season 5 of Bosch on Amazon Prime. I'll finish it tonight. It's awesome, just like the previous seasons. This season is following the books relatively closely -- the main difference is that Bosch is being represented by a different lawyer than in the books.

And it’s set at least 20 years in the future from the books. But I’m a Willuver (sp) fan at heart.

I just finished season one. God I hope there is not a season two! It wasn’t too bad until the final episode where they went out into the streets with all their guns and were surrounded by all these other civilian idiots with guns. That entire scene was the dumbest shit I’ve ever seen LOL. Some episodes earlier on were pretty well done and suspenseful but through the whole show the acting is horrible.

    Fauda.

Pretty interesting depiction of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict.

Plenty of AR porn complete with old Elbit Falcon red dot sights.

Schitts Creek is pretty good. Totally awkward and cringey.

I just finished the series, Spent a lot of time on airplanes this week, Just back from Cabo for April vacation with the wife and kids

You are right, season 4 killed the series. Having the wife undercover as a nanny for a terrorist? WTF, it was 1/4 of the season

Yeah, the blond guy was good in Red Belt, and the Hispanic dude shows up all over the place, sometimes as a Special Forces dude. I think killing off the black guy was probably a mistake - yeah maybe it was realistic but in terms of maintaining your audience, you gotta keep them happy.

I caught Rampart on Prime (I think) last week. Woody Harelson (sp) with a big supporting cast.

It was bad. It was really bad. Another movie that couldn't decide what it was. If I have to watch it twice to "get it" it's not a good movie. That's called a book. LOL. And then it just ends. ???? Who the frick was the g/f/lawyer-chick? Why didn't Ice Cube just bust him? Too many unclosed threads. Too little back-story until VERY late in the film. Great acting. Bad script (or editing - hard to tell).

We started to watch You VS Wild. It is interactive so you can do things like choose whether Bear drinks his own piss, or eats berries in bear poop. However, we soon got bored since it is his usual obvious staged survival situations.

Weird but good show. How many shows have a psychic octopus that’s a little “grabby” lol

We just finished “Lunatics”. One actor plays six different characters. Oddball funny and cringy. One character is an 12 year old who is next in line to be an Earl. He gets a drone and a big black dong any you have “Oh [email protected] it’s a cock!” Very hard show to describe but funny

I'm half way through season 2 of 'The Oath' on Crackle. So far, it's just as good as the first season. Anyone who liked 'The Shield' would enjoy this series.

Watched the 1st episode of a show called Street Food about a street vendor in Bangkok who got a Michelin star. Really great, a must see if you like Thai food.

Couldn’t agree more. Once I’m done with Blacklist I might go to Amazon Prime only.

We got the $0.99/mo Hulu trial for 12 months. Just set up a new Apple TV 4K 64 GB yesterday, and my son is going nuts on it.

The device is great, way better than our old 3G 2012 version.

Guess you don’t like watching porn either?

Seriously though, I don’t watch cooking or food shows, but it was really interesting. And good way to learn some dishes I’d want to look for to try. Like the crab meat omelette she was making.

We find even less on Prime, I only keep it for the shipping and 5% cash back on the CC.

With Disney slowly pulling their content from Netflix streaming, I had to get Rebels for the kids from Netflix disk.

I watched King of Thieves starring Michael Caine yesterday on Prime. Not your typical heist flick. I kept waiting for the normal things to happen. None did. It was very interesting. Based on a true story. If you are looking for The Italian Job or something, it isn't. But it's pretty good.

We finished up that Roman Empire series. Pretty cool! And wow, they had some messed up people... One emperor was banging all three of his biological sisters to give himself an heir. It didn't end well.
