Well, post some military pics.

I'll play.... too many aircraft pictures to list, but here are a couple. :) I had the privilege of serving with a few great squadrons (and one infantry unit)...still miss those days. S/F

My daughter graduated from the US Army Field Artillery school this week. I think this is the first time we haven’t spent Thanksgiving together. She’s traveling to her assignment. View attachment 315387

Pretty young woman. You can see the confidence in her eyes. Good Luck and God Speed to her.

Through Ancestry and my niece doing a bunch of research we were able to get a copy of my uncles Purple Heart letter, he was was killed aboard the USS Ticonderoga on Jan 21, 1945 during a kamikaze attack.

Had a really hard time finding a pic here; my service began and ended before the Age of Smartphones, so taking pics back then wasn't exactly top of mind. But this is me at Green Ramp, most likely in 1998 or '99. 2/505 PIR.

I'm not the guy doing the inspecting.

I know it's not a picture but this was one of my best days in the Marine Corps. Had to get rid of a bunch of ammo in Jordan so spent the day with EOD and Scout Snipers practicing emergency destruction. Controlled burn of small arms, then shot up a bunch of flares, smoke grenades. Basically all the ammo we got to issue out but never use. Topped it off with a controlled det consistingof det cord, bangalores, shape charges, C4, TNT, dynamite etc. Made our turn in a lot easier back in the states.

Whoever says Iraq is just desert and urban terrain definitely forgot the Tigris and Euphrates were the fertile cradle of civilization. Those palm groves were thick.

Over time we really beefed up the physical security at our outpost. From sandbags around fighting positions to full on Alaska barriers and concrete towers:
