Wednesday, July 27th, The State House. WE THE PEOPLE!!!

Can I make the suggestion of trying to coordinate with goal on this? Take it from someone who has tried this stuff, you are going to fail if you don't think this through and organize it before you schedule it.

I'm not trying to discourage you, I just want you to succeed and I can promise you this will not go how you hope without some back work. Please pm me if you want some help. I can share my experience and help you organize this a little better.

If my truck wasn't going in the shop on wednesday and my girlfriends car was less of a piece of shit, I'd be there. Maybe the next one. On a side note, what are people's opinions of bringing a flintlock musket with flint removed to one of these rallies?

I like the idea of of wearing a nice 200rd pre 1994 saw belt with evil green tips and tracers 4:1....just because somthings legal doesnt make it a good idea....also you dont have to break the law to be arrested.

whatever you all do, remember your actions speak for all of us.

The smallest action or mispoken words can AND WILL BE misconstrued in the media...i think we all know that.

As long as your signs are on point (out of control AG / creating criminals from thin air) as well as civil rights, you will be heard.
Not sure you need a 'guest speaker'.

otherwise - good on you for getting something started - hopefully we have the energy to keep it up.

I can't make a weekday rally this week but, can in upcoming weeks. So, I thank you all for the efforts!!

Need a better form of distributing messages. How many from Ma are getting the message. I read some threads and then from this. No other info.

I agree, but at the same time maybe we should take shifts picketing like a Union would do. Then let GOAL and other organizations help on the larger protests.

I dunno - doesn't seem to apply to Black Lives Matter. [thinking]

point taken but, we're not them.
sadly there a difference. unjust but realistic.

the pressure needs to be constant though. I'm all for small constant presence.
if we can have 5-10 ppl at the golden dome every day, more on other days, until this is rescinded, and the AG office neutered of this 'ability', we'd be doing something different this time.

The big and organized rallies would have to be more frequent.

<wondering>
GOAL/Mike - what would it take, money wise, to reserve a place of prominence, in different parts of the state, every Saturday for the rest of the summer?
...might IM you that question Mike...in case you don't see it here.
would be interesting to know, and it could also give others an idea of the cost that goes into these things.
-might inspire some to dig in/Join/Donate.

For weekday gathering/protest, we need more than 48h prep time. Most of us work, families, etc. a weekday is very do-able but would plan at least a week in advance. This will help attendance greatly.

I don't think it would be a good idea, the moonbats piss themselves because of smaller stuff already.

This:
"The Legislature is wrapping up work on major bills on July 31 and lawmakers' focus will then turn to the campaign trail."

I think we need to plan quickly on this based on the above date.

Worked for non-union Demoulas Market basket employees

You're right. The leftist media will support and cover up for any leftist causes. BLM is heavily driven by socialist and communist organizations. Gun owners are not, so we will not get any favorable coverage. Note that the media story was that there were 600 of us their Saturday, when we know that it was over 3K.

That's right, and for us it good timing and that this will hurt Democrats this election if we keep up the protests, and don't let it die off. I know after the fed ban way back shortly after the majority of Democrats were voted out and the Republicans took full control. They must have forgot that.

BLM has the advantage of being a protected class, we don't. In the long term, what would the efficacy be of protesting outside of the events of non-signatories to the Healey rescind letter? Granted the legislative session would be out, but it would be a good way of putting them on notice.
