I sent this to my state senator and rep
We need to get rid of the First Amendment or at least highly restrict it, you should need to get a license to exercise free speech and freedom of religion and the right on congregate to protest. Free speech leads to porn on the internet, gambling on the internet, drugs killing promiscuous sex on TV, Movies, Songs and Video Games. You should have to pass a background check including a mental health check before you are allowed to exercise your First Amendment rights. Things you say, while you may not mean to bully can hurt even kill people (causing them to commit suicide). If we license everyone and make sure they have a background check before they speak or watch TV or play a Video Game. Remember it is for the children! The children are very susceptible to the influences of free speech.
More wars have been started by free speech than ever were started with a gun, in fact I would have to say that most wars are started by free speech, by ideas, speeches, etc. in fact the term “saber rattling” is just that, the exercise of free speech, threats against someone else. So we need to eliminate it worldwide!
If you think this is crazy, then why don’t you think eliminating the Second Amendment and banning all guns isn’t? Substitute guns for free speech and you have the argument that most gun-haters use when trying to eliminate guns.
