War Hogg Tactical/Stretz Tactical 2 Day Pistol Wallingford, CT 9/28-29, 2019
Location: Blue Trail Range, Wallingford, CT
Cost: $500
The Warhogg Tactical/Stretz Tactical 2 Day Pistol course is designed to provide the shooter with the fundamentals of pistol marksmanship based on proven special operations combat & Law Enforcement experience/training methods and to build a solid foundation. Students attending this class can work from concealment, duty rig or open carry.
**Rick will also have a couple of Archon Firearms Type B pistols for student to demo or use during the course along with Standard Co USA holsters and mag pouches.
Topics covered include:
Safety
Equipment selection & set up
Handgun marksmanship
Handgun manipulations (draws, reloads & malfunctions)
Combat mindset
Multi round engagement
Multi target Indexing
Use of cover
Shooting on the move
And more
Gear requirements:
Pistol (preferably in at least 9MM)
Sturdy strong side holster (No blackhawk serpa - exceptions for armed professionals who are issued a serpa for duty use, cross draw, ankle or shoulder holsters)
1,000 PISTOL ROUNDS
a minimum of 3 magazines (5 is better)
Magazine pouch that will retain magazine when moving
10 Dummy Rounds
Weapon lube and maintenance tools
Ear protection (electronic preferred)
Eye protection
Old T-shirt that can be shot
Clothing must be able to perform during strenuous physical activity. We will be training in all weather conditions so pack accordingly.
Optional but recommended:
Ball cap
Sunblock/bug spray
Lunch/Water/snacks
