Wanenmacher's Gun Show

  • Best Crowd - Tulsa, OK has some of the nicest people in the world. Good, hard working people who deserve a good gun show. Lots of people who don't live here make the trip from almost all 50 states. We even have several people who come from foreign countries every show. They know the best only comes around two times a year and they really have a good time.

No mention of BO or unwiped asses. Already better than any gun show I’ve ever been to.

This sounds interesting. My son and his family live in Tulsa, so this would be extra nice.

I've never been. My late cousin (first, once removed, first cousin to my father) lived a block away, and issued me a standing invitation to stay at his place if I ever attended.

I never got the chance before he passed, but I do owe him eternal gratitude for launching my lifelong love of Lee-Enfield rifles. He gave some of his collection to my father, and that 1942 Fazakerly No.4 Mk.I in the closet fascinated me more than everything else, with its amazingly slick action.

I still have it.

So this is about 40% of the show floor. The picture doesn't do it justice, this place is absurd, there is almost too much to take in.

Also very few new gun dealers, mostly used guns, alot of collectors /specialists. You really have to know what you are looking for, but whatever it is, it is likely here (except for Glock 19 fml mags with low caliber markings - haven't found any yet)

To give further context to this pic, it probably would take me about 2 hours to do a Marlboro show back a couple year ago, when it had more guns. Just this section in the picture took me 8 hours today. I have 8 hours to do the remaining 60% of the show tomorrow
