EAST MONTPELIER, Vt. -The Governor bagged a big buck Saturday.
Just a few hours into his hunt Governor Peter Shumlin killed a six point buck in his hometown of East Montpelier. The animal weighed 186 pounds. The Governor has been a life long deer hunter and hunting was on his schedule for opening day. The rifle season concludes on December 1.

We may not agree with him politically, but consider giving credit for bagging a deer. At least Vermont has a Gov. who hunts...
