What’s the best way to go about figuring out value and selling it? Thanks very much.

Following this too. I have some pretty old stuff I’ve never figured out what to do with.

I don't know if older ammo makes it more valuable. Many attach the term "vintage" and expect a premium price will be paid. I'd suggest posting it for whatever price you deem appropriate and then reduce those prices until someone bites. You can compare similar online offerings to set your initial prices.
You may find some out there that will be interested in the older packaging, so good luck with that.

Agreed. I use the term vintage loosely. It’s just old. I prefer to just sell it all together. I’ll likely just start a low number auction on gunbroker and whatever it sells for is what it’s worth.

I have been using gun broker lately to get rid of similar old ammo. You will be surprise at the prices that some people are willing to pay. The biggest draw back is you will have to go to a UPS or Fed Ex Hub for shipping. Good luck

You can goggle each box/vintage ammo and check out auctions. Also Pete's vintage gun and ammo is a good resource. My Mrs does this for two different shops here in Eastern Mass. We just had some 7.8mm Bergmann valued about 1.5K. A total of 40 rounds of ammo we priced out the other day.

The Mrs looked at your collection and you have 4 which at first glance have value.
Remington Kleenbore
Western X
Peter's Victor
Western Super X Lubaloy

Can you post a pic of that crazy expensive ammo?

The pistol was made in 1897 and looks very modern for it's time. For those who count one round was gifted out to a local collector. Best recent auction price per round was $27.50 per round. Tough call what the box itself would be worth.
