So a Verizon technician decides that it's his patriotic duty to enlist and help out his Uncle Sugar. He decides that he wants to be a Marine, and that's where he signs up.

Everything goes well until his first day on the rifle range. His first shot completely missed the target, and the range officer tells him to try it again. Puzzled, he sends another round downrange, and misses again.

So he takes the rifle, sticks his finger over the muzzle, pulls the trigger and blows the end of his finger off and looks downrange and yells to the guy in the pits, "It works on this end just fine! The trouble must be on your end!"
