Varmint Countor VS Heavy Barrel VS Bull Barrel

Hello All

Can someone please explain to me the difference between a varmint contour barrel, a bull barrel and a heavy barrel? Please include measurement specs (diameters) if you have them.

I don't think there really is a definition. When people refer to bull barrels I think they mean straight contour. I think varmint is typically lighter than heavy. Here are a few resources.

Are you asking about barrels in general or that of a certian manufacturer.

Many aftermarket barrel companys have their own nomenclature for barrel contours that is uniquely thier own.
