hey guys just picked up a uzi parts kit i have seen a few legal built rifles on here how about a mass legal pistol like is a 10'' barrel ok please give me all info to make mass comp thanks wayne

As we are under the AWB (assault weapon ban) they will be verboten as you would have to make it under 50 ounces (3.12lbs) . along with the front hand grip. (could be deleted.) the uzi is Heavy.

a semiautomatic pistol that has an ability to accept a detachable magazine and has at least 2 of--

(i) an ammunition magazine that attaches to the pistol outside of the pistol grip;
(ii) a threaded barrel capable of accepting a barrel extender, flash suppressor, forward handgrip,
or silencer;
(iii) a shroud that is attached to, or partially or completely encircles, the barrel and that permits
the shooter to hold the firearm with the nontrigger hand without being burned;
(iv) a manufactured weight of 50 ounces or more when the pistol is unloaded; and
(v) a semiautomatic version of an automatic firearm; and

I know above is a .22 just need a pic with a forward grip etc . The weight isn't a big deal since that's the one evil feature you can have. You can build a Uzi like that in mass. if you build it that way first you can swap the barrel out for a 16" and add a buttstock and make a rifle and convert it back as much as you want .

Mini uzi parts kits are in the 700-1000 range if you can find them. I think you would be hard pressed to get the weight under 50 0z unless you Made it out of a lighter materiel. Maybe one of the NH guys could give the weight of their full size pistols.

4 and 5 listed above would apply to an uzi. (that is a cut and paste of the AWB from goals site.)
