House Speaker Ronald Mariano said he is “extremely proud” of Massachusetts’ gun laws Wednesday — considered some of the tightest in the nation — while Senate President Karen Spilka said her branch would take a look at potential reforms in the wake of a Texas school shooting that left 19 children and two teachers dead.

An 18-year-old gunman walked into a classroom at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas and opened fire at “anyone that was in his way,” authorities there said. The school shooting was the deadliest in the United States since 20 children and six adults were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary in Connecticut in 2012 and comes two weeks after 10 Black people were killed at a Buffalo, New York supermarket.

Continues…

Politicians claim AR15’s are illegal in Massachusetts.

There is already a bunch of bill that have been summited over the last year. I have a feeling someone is going to summit a bill to do away with the FID card for those under 21.

How come this kid was a known shithead with mental health issues was able to skip school for over a month and when he attended school he was cutting his face with a knife and his teachers and administrative offices did nothing??

The libs can shove gun control up their asses.

Fix your f***ing schools. God knows we surely spend enough money on the buildings and salaries.

“I don’t know what triggers these events and how much even gun control is going to stop these people who are on a mission to just annihilate races and ethnic groups of people,” he said. “It’s an underlying sickness in individuals that we have to identify and get at to see if we can treat these people. It’s more than just gun laws."

This is the most rational thing this twat has said in decades

Prepare for Double Secret Probation.

Any legislative body that continues receive RECORD inflows of cash and does not

A) send it back to the taxpayers
or
B)put it in the rainy day fund

clearly are not going to act sensibly on any sort of freedom issue. This is why USSC decisions now are SO vitally important. Hammer out what is Constitutionally legal and cannot be superseded by the states and be done with it. They can go hand-wring over ninja stars instead.

Same reason all the shootings are in public schools. Their own product comes back to haunt them.

as i my own kids go through the hig/middle school now - what is it you think schools could do? who exactly in the school? a guidance councilor? alert state`s social workers? those f#ckers do not care. the whole system is as ineffective as it can be.

they will go ahead with gun control, then knives control, then axes controls, then it will, may be, finally get back to mental health control where it was supposed to begin with.

Once it gets to the point of banning kitchen knifes where will we go from there? Banning sharp sticks? Rocks? It will never end
in good old soviet union if police would catch you on the street with a kitchen knife it would be a 3 years sentence - it was called a 'cold weapon' possession.
and crime was, of course, above the roof, with all the gangsters armed to the teeth. but the citizenry was properly disarmed and in the state of a perpetual fear from both .gov gestapo and local gangsters.

that is where it is aimed for here as well.

MA House Speaker Ron Mariano. Read the article

Thanks. I see the other clown said this:

“I hear some of those in Texas that say it’s not the answer to have tighter gun control. That is absolutely the wrong thought, look at the states that do have tighter gun control,” Spilka told reporters Wednesday morning. “These instances are not happening like they’re happening in Texas and some other states.”

Where was Sandy Hook? Texas? Tennessee? Oh right, in gun gulag Connecticut.

Where was the worst ever mass shooting of children? Alabama? Florida? Oh right, it was Norway.

They can't take our knives if we're all armed.

you`ll be surprised of what the police can do when it is properly unleashed upon people at a full force. as police only serves and protects those whom it reports to.
as if you do think that they cannot incarcerate you all - think again.

you just take for granted that a little trip into a penitentiary is an unavoidable part of life and get ready to whatever. it was definitely easier in a socialist society with a virtually free lodging and minimal living expenses. here in a society of economic slavery with a mortgage and credit card debts and credit scores you will end up a homeless bum.
