We're trying a couple of new programs that we hope will induce competitors to travel throughout the USPSA Northeast Section and visit all the clubs, and I need your help to spread the news. We have more than two hundred active USPSA shooters in New England and 8 (soon to be 9) hard working Northeast Section clubs, plus our good friends in Vermont.

The two programs are:
The Northeast Section Traveler's Award, and
The Northeast Section 2008 Points Series.

You can learn the details about these programs by visiting the Northeast Section website: www.uspsa-ne.org
and clicking on the "announcements" tab.

To summarize the Northeast Section Traveler's Award - Every USPSA member who visits at least 6 Northeast Section clubs during 2008, which must include at least one Maine club, will earn a Northeast Section coupon good for two free shoots during the 2009 season (a $40 value). This won't make up for $3.80 gasoline, but it's still better than a kick in the head.

And the Northeast Section 2008 Point Series - Up to 14 possible results may be submitted toward the points series tally with the top two point-earners each receiving 5,000 Winchester primers (a $135 value). The catch is that no more than 2 results may be submitted from any one club with an allowance for 2 "wildcard" results.

Not everybody is enlightened enough to be an NES member, so please help me spread the word.

Thanks very much.
Take care,
- Dan
