Match Sponsors Named For USPSA Area 3 Championships

Sedro-Woolley, WA — Manny Bragg, the United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) Area 3 Director, announced the Match Sponsors and Match Donors for the 2008 Area 3 Championships, bringing the total number of companies sponsoring the match to 30.

Safariland, Springfield Armory and STI International, three well known and longtime supporters of the sport of Practical Shooting, have signed on as Match Sponsors.

“Our Match Sponsors are three of the most respected names in our sport. Countless shooters have turned to these companies to outfit themselves with winning competition equipment. We are extremely pleased to have their continued support,” said Manny Bragg, USPSA Area 3 Director.

In addition to the match sponsors, 13 companies have stepped up as Match Donors providing cash and prizes to the overall purse. The strong shooter turnout is due in no small part to this continued growth in industry sponsorship.

Companies that are supporting the competition as Match Donors are BagMaster, Hodgdon Powder, Jager Products Inc., Midway USA, Precision Delta Bullets, Redding Reloading, Seahorse Carrying Cases, Sierra, Starline, TechWear USA, Trijicon, Vanek Custom Triggers and World Shoot XV.

“With the addition of these Match Donors, the Area 3 Championships are poised to be one of the key regional USPSA matches this year. We have great stages and support staff, wide industry support and some of the very best shooters committed to attend. For one weekend this summer Nebraska will become the center of the Practical Shooting universe,” said Bragg.

The match, which will be held July 31 through August 3 in Louisville, Nebraska, at the Eastern Nebraska Gun Club, is expected to draw upwards of 225 top shooters from across America to battle their way through 12 challenging stages to determine champions in the Open, Limited, Limited-10, Production, Revolver and Single Stack Divisions.
