theres is little thing nagging in my head about the years worth of testing ...... i cant help but thinking how cheap they where able to make them to get a contract for GI.
where the standard metal mags that bad ?

Too bad their current inventory is unlikely to be auctioned off for civilian sales (that is, unless Trump signs some order that they can).

They did, back in 2012. The then current PMags did not meet every criteria for general issue.

I'd say the current Pmag now does meet the specs.

The Gen2 Pmags did not fit in HKs stupid proprietary magwell in the M27. I filed one down so it would fit and did a 30 round mag dump in the M27 in F/A. The modified PMag would over-insert in my M4 on an open bolt, so I pulled it out of rotation.
