I've a S&W 610 and a 40 S&W barrel for my Ruger 1911 in 10 mm,have a 223 ammo can filled with both types of ammo. Have to take the 610 put in the near future.

the .40 will work fine in the ruger but don't try it in the revolver. The moon clips aren't strong enough to hold them so the firing pin can do its job. Use the 10mm in that

I've had no problem using moon clips with 40 S&W in my 610. Don't remember what make they are but I need a tool to load the cases in the moon clip

oh wow they must be a lot stronger steel than the typical ones!
